Ok, the opening plot for Marvel Legacies is up! Please jump in with your New Avengers characters at your leisure. Its going to start out social - don't worry, the Hulk will be along any minute, once everyone is pinged in and scene is moving.
A few important notes:
1. If you want your character involved in this plot, they /must/ be in on the first portion of the scene. Doesn't need to be much. NONE of the characters are at the mansion. There's a good reason for this. Nor can anyone duck back there to grab anything real quick. If they wouldn't be at an Avengers' kids social outing, they can just happen to be at the mall, and duck into costume or something, but things are happening at Avengers' mansion. Likewise, if they wouldn't have some of their gear, they'll have chances to get it and do stuff further along. For the first part, having people out of costume or without their powers saving civilians, playing crowd control, etc. would be awesome, and let us break a thread up.
2. The scene is called 'Bad Things Come in Threes' for a reason. There will be three parts. Everyone will get their chances to do things, and if you aren't getting everything you might want to pull off in part 1 - that's what parts 2 and 3 are for.
3. If you're not up for pinging in and all, there will be more plots and more chances to get involved down the road. This is just the beginning, and everyone has ties to the team. Feel free to watch from the sidelines on this one if you like and come in after this plot. Just remember, if you're not there in some fashion for pt. 1 of this plot, you're sitting out for parts 2 and 3 as well.
4. I know there's a ton of awesome support character and outside character ideas. They're not in this plot. Please keep this to core Avengers only. (And yes, this is an event that people could find reasons for others to know about, and wonder why no one else is there... for the same reason the X-Men, Avengers and F4 aren't in 2/3rds of each other's stories, despite proximity. This is an Avengers' story - there'll be things for other people later.)
And the basic rundown:
Pt.I: The kids are out shopping, or hanging out at the mall. Others with secret identities can just be there in general, and get into costume when the chaos hits. The chaos, in this case, will be a wounded, extremely angry Hulk suddenly being teleported into the mall. There will be one thread for fighting the Hulk - primarily for some of the heavies, and as many threads as people want, in 2's, 3's or more to do things like pulling damsels out from under collapsing roofs, rescue runaway strollers, put out fires, coordinate evacuation, etc. - this is a disaster of huge proportions. There's more than enough panic to prevent and chances for daring saves for everyone.
This is also THE HULK. He's coming in upset and out of his mind - he's going to shrug off a lot, and probably hurt people. The kids WILL win, but its going to take some teamwork.
Pt II: All calls to the Avengers got no response. Their comms are being jammed. On realizing this, the Avengers' kids get home to find it badly damaged. There are people watching from a distance, but no one wants to get close when people know they saw a rampaging Hulk around here somewhere.
Investigation will reveal that the Masters of Evil are inside, and they're ransacking and looting the place. Tony is being tortured for information on Stark access codes, and most of the Avengers' adults have been injured, some of them critically, either by the Hulk or by the MoE.
This will start as a bunch of 1 on 1 fights - FREE COOKIES FOR ANYONE WHO WILL HELP ME TEMP THE MoE....pleeeeease?
Some of them the villains have an edge. Some of them, the heroes do. Enough of the heroes need to win to start creating some mismatches and 2 on 1's elsewhere. People can toss suggestions out for who they might end up teaming up with and such - feedback is welcome. By the end of this EVERYONE should be hurting, potentially badly. There are no easy fights or one shots. That's part of the point of arch-enemies. Eventually the Avengers need to win...but it should be a struggle.
Pt. III, finale: Just as they think they've won, Citizen VI finds the cosmic cube in the vaults. He's going to call on various Nazi enemies to crush the Avengers - and should start out working. Peggy needs to rally the troops, get everyone together, and they need to give her a shot to get to Citizen VI - just as he's opening a dimensional portal up to try and banish the Avengers. He'll end up knocked through it instead by Peggy while everyone else buys her time.
Endscenes: There's time for clean up, social, recovery, etc. People should be hurt, tired, etc - most of their parents are hospitalized. Blanche has long term plans for Tony from this - one of which is that, as rebuilding is beginning, he'll have to inform the kids that, with so many of the adults injured, some of them long term, the kids are the Avengers' active roster now.
